- What should I expect on the day of my appointment?
You will be receiving email reminders before our appointment. The day of the appointment I will arrive 5-10 minutes early to set up. If you are a first time client, you will fill out your intake form during this time. During your massage, you will be laying under a sheet and blanket. I will only uncover the area I am working on: back, leg, arm, etc. Your comfort is my main priority so please let me know if you feel uncomfortable at any time. *Absolutely no breast or genital areas will be massaged.* After your massage, it will be another 10 minutes while I break down the table. You can expect a follow-up email within a day or two.
- Do I need to do anything or provide anything for the session?
Usually, no. However, I will decide and let you know during our call at the time of booking. Sometimes clients like to shower before their massage session. A warm shower or bath 15 to 30 minutes before your massage can help to prepare the body by warming and relaxing the muscles, increasing circulation, and therefore boosting the effects of the massage. Although I have my own music, you may provide music for your session if you have a preference.
- What kind of oil or lotion do you use?
Currently, I only use all natural coconut oil by Natural Treasures. I have been using their oil since 2005 and have found it to be the lightest and most gentle oil for all skin types including sensitive skin (like my own). It is made with coconut oil infused with Vitamin C and Vitamin E. I personally will only get massages with this oil so I highly recommend it. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact me with any questions. If you would prefer to use your own massage oil or lotion, please mention it when you make your appointment.
- Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. I understand that life is chaotic, always changing and things sometimes pop up unexpectedly. However, there is a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% charge. Consecutive cancellations will be charged the full service. You are welcome to reschedule before 24 hours to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Do you have any guarantee?
There is a 100% relaxation guarantee for all new clients. This means that if you are not satisfied with your massage, you will not be asked to pay. I put my heart and soul into my work with my clients and I stand by my promise to help you lead a happier, healthier life. While most cases require more than one massage to reach your goal, I can guarantee that you will feel more relaxed, happier, and relieved after your first session.
